Start of the 17th round of ÖKOPROFIT Klub

35 companies and organizations are starting the new 2026/2027 round of the ÖKOPROFIT environmental and climate management programme, which has been running for 25 years.

On 2 December 2025, the starting signal for the 17th round of the ÖKOPROFIT-Klub 2026/2027 sounded in Wiesbaden City Hall. 35 club companies exchanged views on the focal points of the next round in the first workshop of the environmental and climate protection program and already received initial input on the topic of heavy rainfall prevention in Wiesbaden.

The new ÖKOPROFIT round is made up of a wide range of industries: Nine companies from the service sector, including utilities and waste disposal companies, and ten companies from the industry/manufacturing sector are taking part. Five companies from the finance and insurance sector are represented; the event, accommodation, catering and cultural and creative industries are represented six times. Companies from the trades, wholesale and retail and health and social services/education sectors are also taking part. The construction company Brömer & Sohn GmbH, Gartenbau-Versicherung VVaG, the company KISICO Kirchner, Simon & Co. GmbH from the manufacturing industry and Wivertis GmbH, the municipal IT service provider, are new additions from the 2024/2025 entry round.

A new feature of the 17th ÖKOPROFIT Club round is the addition of the Scope 3 emissions calculation to create a carbon footprint as an additional module.

The ÖKOPROFIT Club sees itself as a network for sustainable management for advanced users. The majority of participants have been active in the ÖKOPROFIT Club for many years and are continuously expanding their environmental activities with a view to saving potential among like-minded people. The spectrum of topics ranges from energy saving to VSME reporting and circular economy to social sustainability. Aspects such as compliance check/legal issues are also covered.
