Discover mushrooms in Wiesbaden: Excursions, courses and advice
Have you always wanted to learn more exciting and interesting facts about the natural habitat of mushrooms? The Umweltladen, located at Luisenstraße 19, offers consultations on Mondays from September 7 through November 9. Courses and field trips for adults, families, and children are also available for booking during the fall months.
The Environmental Agency’s mushroom programs for adults and families invite you to discover the mysterious world of mushrooms and to identify and enjoy them safely. And along the way, you’ll learn lots of exciting and interesting facts about the habitats of mushrooms.
Important Information About the Courses/Field Trips
Please bring: sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, a small basket, and a small knife.
The tours start in Wiesbaden Dotzheim, Weilburger Valley. The starting point is easily accessible by public transportation.

Tickets can be booked online and are also available at the Wiesbaden Tourist Information Office, Marktplatz 1. Tickets are not available at the Umweltladen.
You have the option to print the tickets yourself using the “print@home” service or have them mailed to your home for a fee.
Please note that tickets for events with a fixed date are generally non-exchangeable and non-refundable. This applies even if you are unable to attend or are prevented from doing so. Should a Pilz event be canceled, we will, of course, inform you of the next steps.
