Saving energy and using renewable energy sources reduces energy costs in the long term and helps protect the climate. The Independent Energy Advisory Service in Wiesbaden supports you with practical tips—clear, practical, and free of charge.

Energy Consulting for Private Households

Are you planning to install a heat pump or a solar power system? Would you like to make your home more energy-efficient and are wondering what funding options are available?

The Wiesbaden Energy Advisory Service will show you suitable options and answer your questions during a personal consultation. The consultation takes place by phone, video call, or at the Umweltladen, lasts about 45 minutes, and is free of charge.

 


Consultation appointments

  • Every second Wednesday of the month from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Umweltladen, 19 Luisenstraße, Wiesbaden
  • Additional dates for phone and video consultations are available by appointment.

About the Wiesbaden Energy Consulting Service

The Wiesbaden Energy Advisory Service is a joint initiative of the Consumer Advice Center of Hesse (Verbraucherzentrale Hessen e.V.) in cooperation with the Wiesbaden Climate Protection Agency (Klimaschutzagentur Wiesbaden e.V.) and the Environmental Office of the State Capital of Wiesbaden.

It represents the interests of consumers and is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.

Rent Current Meters

Electricity meters can be rented at the environmental store for a deposit of 50 euros. This device is plugged in between the outlet and the appliance, allowing it to measure the actual energy consumption of individual household appliances.
