You are not alone with your climate feelings

Feelings such as despair, worry, anger, and helplessness in the face of the climate crisis are familiar to many people—yet they often go unspoken, and that is precisely what can be so burdensome.

The Climate Café: what is it?

The Climate Café is a moderated, safe, and open discussion group focused on personal thoughts and feelings about climate change and the future. The focus here is on what moves us emotionally, not on political debates or solutions. Participants can share their feelings while others listen—without interruption and without judgment. Often, something unexpected emerges: When these feelings are voiced, they lose their weight, and at the same time, a sense of connection with others arises.

A special offer

Climate cafés have already become established in many places across Europe. The Wiesbaden Climate Café is breaking new ground: as far as we know, it is the first municipally run climate café in Germany. It is organized by the Environmental Protection Agency in cooperation with the Public Health Department.
