Bicycle repair and maintenance courses
In the bicycle repair workshops for beginners and advanced cyclists offered by the city's environmental store in conjunction with "der Radler", BauHaus Werkstätten Wiesbaden, interested parties can learn how to repair and maintain their own bicycles.
The beginner courses are designed for anyone who wants to maintain their bike and perform minor repairs on their own in the future. Wolfgang Stallmann from the ADFC will share tips and tricks for keeping your bike in good shape during these four-hour courses. The following dates are now available for registration at the Umweltladen at Luisenstraße 19:
- August 1 (sold out)
- postponed to October 17 (original date: October 10)
Tickets purchased remain valid for the new date or can be returned to the Umweltladen.
The advanced courses offer the opportunity to learn how to perform more complicated repairs, such as replacing brake pads, adjusting brakes, or replacing shift cables. There are three dates to choose from:
- July 4 (fully booked)
- September 5 (fully booked)
The course starts at 1:00 p.m. at the “der Radler” bike station at Wiesbaden Central Station, Platform 11.
You’ll be working on your own bike. Materials needed for repairs can be purchased on-site.
The course is limited to ten participants, and there is a five-euro participation fee.
