Bicycle repair and maintenance courses

In the bicycle repair workshops for beginners and advanced cyclists offered by the city's environmental store in conjunction with "der Radler", BauHaus Werkstätten Wiesbaden, interested parties can learn how to repair and maintain their own bicycles.

Bicycle repair workshops for beginners and advanced users

The beginner courses are designed for anyone who wants to maintain their bicycle and perform minor repairs on their own in the future. Wolfgang Stallmann from the ADFC will share tips and tricks for keeping your bike in good shape during these four-hour courses. The following dates are now available for booking at the Umweltladen at Luisenstraße 19:

  • August 1
  • October 10

The advanced courses offer the opportunity to learn how to perform more complex repairs, such as replacing brake pads, adjusting brakes, or replacing shift cables. There are three dates to choose from:

  • May 2 (fully booked)
  • July 4
  • September 5

The session starts at 1:00 PM at the "der Radler" bike station at Wiesbaden Central Station, Platform 11.

You’ll be working on your own bike. Materials needed for repairs can be purchased on-site.

The course is limited to ten people, and there is a participation fee of five euros.
Registration forms are available at the Umweltladen, Luisenstraße 19, Wiesbaden. Opening hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
