Celebrate ecologically and fairly - sustainable events in Wiesbaden
Festivals and events bring people together in a relaxed atmosphere and help to strengthen communities. Many small and large events take place in Wiesbaden every year - if they are organized sustainably, this contributes to more environmental and climate protection in our city.
The state capital of Wiesbaden therefore encourages organizers to consider resource consumption and climate protection when planning both private and public events. Practical guidance on how to do this is provided in the booklet "Celebrating Ecologically and Fairly: A Guide to Sustainable Events in Wiesbaden."
This brochure offers many suggestions: from choosing a venue to transportation and travel, as well as catering and decorations. The checklist at the end of the guide helps you focus on your own individual sustainability goals that you want to achieve.
The digital version of the brochure is available for download under "Documents." The print edition of the guide is available free of charge at the Umweltladen, Luisenstraße 19.
Useful links to help organize a sustainable event are available, sorted by topic, in the link collection under “Further Information.”
