Repair Café on tour at the Umweltladen

Repairing instead of throwing away - that is the motto of the "Repair Café on Tour", where everyday objects are repaired.

The Repair Café is non-commercial and aims to extend the useful life of everyday objects, conserve resources and repair them collectively. It was founded in 2016.

It is advisable to drop off items in need of repair at the Umweltladen as early as possible from 10 am, but no later than 11.30 am. Collection is possible until 2 pm.

At the "Repair Café on Tour", experienced repairers help to make things "fit" again - as far as possible. The free offer is aimed at anyone and everyone. Household appliances, consumer electronics, toys and more are repaired.

Even small repairs to clothing

The same applies to clothing: repair instead of throw away

In addition to the usual repair team, from October you can also bring your own clothes and repair them yourself under supervision. For smaller repairs to clothing, there will be help for self-help: missing buttons, small holes or open seams can be repaired under supervision.

Dates

  • October 25
  • probably November 22
  • Additional date: Wednesday, November 26
  • There will be no Repair Café in December.

Repairers wanted

The Repair Café on Tour is run on a voluntary basis. We are currently looking for more engineers, tinkerers and repair enthusiasts who would like to get involved and help ensure that the service can take place regularly.
