New living in Breckenheim

Planning objective: Construction of communal facilities and apartments for various target groups on a former school site in the old town center of Breckenheim.
Klarenthal Estate
Launched on February 27, 2026:
- Hofgut Klarenthal
Planning objective: Renovation in accordance with preservation guidelines, maintenance, and long-term operation of the facility

Further concept processes in planning:
On December 16, 2021, the City Council decided to launch the first planning competitions for city-owned properties. Between 2022 and 2025, the first planning competition in the state capital of Wiesbaden was successfully held for a community housing project under the motto "Living by the Park / Housing for Many" in the Bierstadt-Nord development area. And here’s what’s in the works:
Bierstadt-North
Three further concept procedures are planned for the Bierstadt-Nord construction area under the following mottos:

Planning objective: Development of a neighborhood center - Growing older together
Planning objective: Integration and community - Affordable home ownership
Planning objective: Home ownership for families and cohabiting couples with children
CvO Klarenthal
In addition, the state capital of Wiesbaden is currently planning the following additional planning processes:
- CvO Klarenthal (formerly Carl-von-Ossietzky-Schule)
Planning objective: Allocation of 50 percent of the area through a conceptual planning process in accordance with the principles of sustainable urban development.
