Belle Wi - better barrier-free living and living
The permanent Belle Wi exhibition at Föhrer Straße 74 in Dotzheim showcases solutions for accessible living and assistive technology. For group tours, please make an appointment in advance. The showroom will be closed from July 6 through July 31. We’ll be back to serve you starting August 4.
About the exhibition
The permanent exhibition "Belle Wi – Better Accessible Living" showcases a wide range of solutions for independent living at home. In an exhibition space of approximately 200 square meters, visitors can learn about accessible living and helpful technology. You can try out all the products on site.
The exhibition consists of several sections:
- Entrance door and foyer, featuring, among other things, a battery-operated door lock and automatic door opener
- Living room, featuring a home emergency call system, a lift chair, and a screen reader
- Bedroom, featuring a height-adjustable bed and a talking alarm clock
- Kitchen, featuring, among other things, particularly practical dishes and glass lid openers
- Bathroom, featuring a walk-in shower, grab bars, and a shower toilet
- Stairs, featuring an illuminated handrail and a stairlift
The consultants will show you around the exhibition and provide information on additional assistive devices and possible solutions.
Lectures, workshops, and training sessions take place in the exhibition’s event area.
The Belle Wi team collaborates with various organizations, such as the Wiesbaden Volunteer Center, Blickpunkt Auge Wiesbaden, and the Hessian Center for Housing Counseling.
Opening hours
Tuesday from 2 to 6 p.m.
Thursday from 1 to 5 p.m.
The exhibition is closed on public holidays and during some of the school breaks in Hesse.
