Artists' Open Studios
Street art for all children and teens at nine locations in Wiesbaden. That’s what the artists at the Wiesbadener Kinder- und Jugendkunstschule e.V. have to offer. They open their studios in all kinds of weather, even during school breaks.
The art workshops are free of charge and open to all children and teens. In these open workshops, children and teens can experiment with different materials and techniques, allowing them to bring their own ideas to life without any restrictions. They receive support from artists throughout the process.
This program is funded by the Youth Services Division of the Office of Social Work.
The workshops are open regularly once a week in the afternoon. They are held at nine locations in Wiesbaden.
Who are the artists?
die kunstwerker - Wiesbaden Children’s and Youth Art School e.V. is an association of artists who, since 2004, have made it their mission to bring artistic exploration and cultural education to children and young people right out on the streets. This is a broad, creative, and independently accessible program designed to foster social participation. Through this program, they promote, among other things, social development and the ability to learn independently.
