What parents can expect that’s special at this daycare center:

Up to 73 children aged 1–6 play and learn in our spacious and bright facility. This includes a nursery group with 10 children and three preschool groups. Our outdoor area, with its many trees, shrubs, and a small wooded area, provides a wide range of experiences in nature. We strive to be a place where children feel safe and comfortable. We guide them as they learn to explore and understand the world. For us, close collaboration between parents and staff is essential for a successful educational partnership and for working together with parents to support each child’s individual development. The Hessian Education and Upbringing Plan forms the basis of our educational work. Our nursery children are cared for by 2–3 staff members in a group room with an adjoining sleeping area. The settling-in period follows the Berlin model. In the kindergarten, we operate with a partially open structure using core groups. Each child can choose which area they would like to spend time in and play. The rooms are designed around specific themes. For example, there is a creative room, a building room, a room with a theater stage and a children’s library, the children’s restaurant, and the movement room. We view religious education as a key component of our educational work. Christian holidays throughout the year, children’s church services, and meaningful Christian rituals are naturally part of this. Another focus is the promotion of the German language and an intercultural perspective, integrated into daily life. Healthy nutrition and meal planning are, for us, a distinct area of education with a room specifically designed for this purpose. The kindergarten children gather in our children’s restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack.
