The Bertramstraße daycare center is centrally located in downtown Wiesbaden, on Platz der Deutschen Einheit. It has attractive rooms and a large outdoor area with a variety of exercise options. The daycare center works according to the "freinetplus" pedagogical concept. The focus is on the child as an expert in his or her own exploratory learning in a participatory environment. Each child learns by working independently in a child-friendly environment and acquires knowledge in dialog with adults and children. Joint activities and projects offer a variety of learning stimuli. One focus of the facility is language development. In addition to the language-friendly daily routine, there are also targeted small group activities. As part of a regular daily routine, the children also receive opportunities to experience movement and nature, early musical education and creative activities in the painting studio and pottery workshop. The children's own initiative and independence are already encouraged in the crèche. Daily rituals and reliable relationships give the children orientation, safety and security.
