KiTa profile
What parents can expect that’s special at this daycare center:
In the mixed-age groups, children have the opportunity to gain social experience with older and younger children and to form friendships across age groups. The children experience consistent care and remain in the same group throughout their time at our daycare center. Our educational approach is based on the Montessori method, whose core principle is: “Help me to do it myself!” We support each child individually as they develop, granting them as much freedom as possible and encouraging their independence. The children’s democratic participation begins with the youngest children learning the daily routine and develops into a children’s conference by the time they reach school age. Our outdoor grounds, field trips, and regular forest days provide numerous opportunities to experience nature. For all age groups, there are guided physical activity sessions and a “movement construction zone.” Children are introduced to working with computers starting in preschool. As part of the “Computer Diploma” program, children gain access to computers and acquire the basic skills needed to use them. Early music education is offered regularly to all children by the music school. In the woodshop and art studio, children can develop skills to express their own creativity and imagination. Our community-based preschool groups have been providing working parents with a safe childcare setting for their children for many years. To help you get to know our facility, we offer parent consultation hours or individual appointments. We would be happy to discuss our educational philosophy and the unique features of our community-based preschool groups with you in person.
