The School Social Work for Children program supports elementary school students in Wiesbaden throughout their entire elementary school years. The program focuses on the children’s individual strengths, needs, and life circumstances.

Through preventive programs, social learning, small-group activities, counseling, projects, and collaborative initiatives, we create spaces where children can experience a sense of community, discover their abilities, and continue to grow.

At the same time, we serve as a point of contact for parents and guardians, teachers, schools, and other partners.

What exactly does school social work involve? And what kind of experiences do children have with us? In our explanatory video, children themselves explain what school social work means to them.

School social work doesn’t just take place in the classroom. Through various projects, activities, and participatory formats, we address topics that matter to children, open up new avenues for experience, and foster creativity, student involvement, and collaborative learning.

These include, among other things, neighborhood projects, summer programs, and activities where children can contribute their ideas and actively help shape their environment.
