Environmental and climate management, energy efficiency, resource conservation and sustainable management are central elements of responsible corporate governance, which the state capital of Wiesbaden has been promoting with the ÖKOPROFIT consulting program with various program modules since the start of the project in 2000. The beginner programs are available for newcomers and the ÖKOPROFIT Club for advanced users.
Around 160 companies and institutions of various sizes and sectors from industry, trade, commerce, public administration, finance and insurance, services, the creative and cultural industries, publishing, events and the hotel industry, churches, agriculture and social services have successfully completed the cooperation project between the city and business over the past 25 years.
