After a successful start to the year with several high-profile events, the trade fair and event calendar of the RheinMain CongressCenter (RMCC) is now well filled for the coming months. "The event year at the RMCC has got off to a great start - thanks to the sales team, which is active at home and abroad, promoting Wiesbaden and the RMCC and has been able to attract numerous top-class events to our city," says Wiesbaden's Mayor and Head of Economic Affairs, Christiane Hinninger, delightedly.

Examples include the COSMETICA trade fair, which will be held at the RMCC until at least 2026, and a three-year contract with a local company, which will once again hold its employee conference with 2,500 participants at the RMCC in April. The federal party conference of the "Greens" is also on the agenda for November this year, with 2,500 guests expected. New formats such as the NEXTLIVE Festival, at which top-class event agencies and companies inform themselves about the latest trends in the event industry, also enrich the RMCC event calendar.

Most recently, a five-year contract was signed with the organizer of a symposium that will take place in Wiesbaden from 2026 to 2030. Almost the entire RMCC has been booked for the conference, which is expected to attract around 2,000 participants. A major veterinary congress organized by the Federal Association of Practicing Veterinarians (BPT e. V.) is also new to the event calendar. The congress, which will be held at the RMCC for the first time next year, will welcome around 2,000 people. In the summer of this year, a listed company will hold a works meeting with around 1,000 employees at the RMCC. "These are just a few examples of the successes of the WICM sales team in attracting event organizers in Germany and abroad. We are not allowed to publish all event names, as we are contractually obliged to maintain confidentiality," explains Martin Michel, Managing Director of Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing GmbH (WICM).

WICM contributes to a good occupancy rate of the congress center through online marketing activities such as webinars on "Health Location" or "Sustainable Meetings". Of course, the WICM team is also present at major national and international trade fairs in Berlin, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and even New York. This not only promotes the RMCC as an event venue, but also the "Destination Wiesbaden Rheingau" as a travel destination.
