Sustainability manager at WICM and TriWiCon
At the beginning of 2024, a sustainability manager took up his position at WICM to strategically and operationally manage the company's sustainability issues.
Robert Frowein, who has held the position since January 1, 2024, has already worked as a project manager and head of logistics at the Kurhaus Wiesbaden and RheinMain CongressCenter event venues and is very familiar with the company's processes.
All topics that were already organized decentrally or via the sustainability working group established in the company two years ago are now handled holistically by the sustainability management department. This is where activities are bundled, employees and customers are advised and measures are coordinated that have been set out in WICM's new sustainability strategy. The sustainability manager plays a central role in advising corporate customers on 'organizing sustainable events'. WICM's sustainable offering for customers and its qualified advice represent an important competitive advantage in the market.
