The Cultural Advisory Board held its last meeting for its now-concluded third term on August 11. The numerous topics can be summarized under the somber heading of the threat to the very existence of cultural creation. We’ll highlight a few of these topics here; the discussion can be reviewed in detail in the meeting minutes. For the new term, there are several topics the Advisory Board intends to address following its constituent meeting on September 8 at 6:00 p.m. in Room 22 of City Hall.
