Infobox Kultur & Kultur.Guide are out!
A separate working group of the Cultural Advisory Board, the "AG Sichtbarkeit" (Visibility Working Group), is successfully working, for example, on improving the public promotion of the visibility of cultural activities, on discounts for advertising space and on ideas for joint advertising forums for the cultural scene.
The "Kultur.Guide" has recently gone online as part of a pilot project. At www.kultur.guide (opens in a new tab), an editorially supervised online directory is being created that bundles information on programs, venues and cultural institutions and links directly to the websites of those involved.
Another eye-catching part of the project is a highly visible container that can be found in various inner-city locations until November. Digital posters and event information from Wiesbaden's cultural scene are presented on large monitors at the "Infobox Kultur". There is also an activity area at each location that can be booked for performances and presentations.
On a personal note: After seven years, Maike Piechot, Head of the Office, is ending her work for the Cultural Advisory Board and returning to the Cultural Administration in Frankfurt am Main. "To all those to whom I was unable to say goodbye in person: Many thanks - Wiesbaden's great culture was also worth a longer trip from the provinces to the state capital and I will continue to recommend it!"
