History? At first glance, it sounds like something from yesterday. Yet it’s right at the heart of today. In our streets, houses, and squares. In stories that are passed down. And sometimes even in questions that are surprisingly relevant today.

That’s why, in August, everything at WerkRaum Wiesbaden revolves around city stories. Because looking back opens up new perspectives for the future. For ten years now, the sam – Stadtmuseum am Markt has been bringing Wiesbaden’s history to life in the Marktkeller. To mark its tenth anniversary, the museum will also be showcasing its collection in August at the Gläsernes Museum in WerkRaum.

Together with many other partners, a diverse program has been created that demonstrates: city history opens up perspectives for the future.
