Environmental information Wiesbaden
The Environmental Agency's newsletter provides information on nature and environmental issues in Wiesbaden and invites citizens to get involved.
Summer has bid farewell with one last burst of energy. And I wave it goodbye without a hint of sadness. I’m looking forward to fall—to the smell of damp forest soil and the sound of rustling leaves underfoot. And maybe the rain will come after all, and with it, the mushrooms.
After the long summer with all its outdoor activities, I’m now looking forward to the time when I can lie comfortably on the sofa without a guilty conscience and read the new book from the book-sharing cabinet. Finally, time to visit the StopfBar, since the outdoor pool no longer beckons, and time again for lectures like “Transformation in the Face of Headwinds,” since no balmy summer evening is vying for my attention.
For anyone who enjoys spending cozy evenings by the warm heater, one of the events exploring the question “How will we heat our homes in the future?” might be of interest. Whatever you’re looking forward to this fall: The newsletter once again has exciting ideas in store for you—for both indoors and outdoors!
I wish you a colorful fall in every sense of the word
Yours, Hella Frey from Environmental Consulting
