I’ve been working at the environmental store for a little over a year. During this time, I’ve seen just how diverse the issues are that matter to people in Wiesbaden. Sometimes it’s about proper waste sorting, other times it’s about renting our cargo bike, or getting tips for a nature-friendly garden. It’s exactly these conversations that make my work exciting every day.

In recent months, one topic has come more into focus: the heating transition. Many people are asking: Do I need to replace my heating system? Will I get district heating? What does the heating transition actually mean for me? There’s a lot of uncertainty, and this is exactly where the Umweltladen wants to help.

The new exhibition “Wiesbaden Makes the Transition” provides guidance. It clearly illustrates what the future of heating might look like and what options are already available today. It’s complemented by free energy consultations for your home. After all, good decisions start with good information.

I hope you enjoy reading the August issue of Umweltinfo. Maybe we’ll run into each other soon at the Umweltladen. I’d be delighted.
