Major events cast their shadows ahead: together with the Frankfurt Rhine-Main metropolitan region, Wiesbaden holds the title of World Design Capital 2026! The international award recognizes cities and regions that make targeted use of design to shape social, ecological and cultural challenges. To this end, 30 projects are planned in the state capital that invite people to help shape, reflect and be inspired.
