Closure of Martinstrasse in the south-east
Martinstraße in Südost will be fully closed at house number 3 from Monday, April 13 until probably Saturday, May 2. The reason for this is the dismantling of an aerator.
The closure also affects bicycle traffic. Pedestrians may use their usual routes. The city asks for your understanding regarding the traffic disruptions caused by the work.
The city regularly renovates roads, utility lines, and sewers. That is why there are approximately 5,000 construction sites in Wiesbaden every year. A map showing selected projects is available at wiesbaden.de/baustellen (opens in a new tab). If buses are affected, ESWE Verkehr will provide information on detours at eswe-verkehr.de (opens in a new tab). All of this work is an investment in the future. Without these projects, major damage would occur sooner or later, leading to more severe traffic disruptions.
