Press release of the state capital Wiesbaden

Spokeswoman and spokesman elected to the youth employment assistance working group

Clemens Mellentin was unanimously elected as the committee's new spokesperson at the latest meeting of the youth employment assistance working group. He will be assisted by Dagmar Schmidt, who was also unanimously appointed as deputy.

The Working Group is a key body within the Youth Vocational Assistance Center (JBH). It brings together the organizations that support young people facing particular obstacles on their path to vocational training. The goal is to foster close communication regarding current developments and to continuously assess whether existing support services are effectively reaching their target groups.

The JBH serves as a strategic link in the school-to-work transition system. Through regular monitoring and detailed analyses, it identifies “gaps” in the support system at an early stage. Based on this meaningful data, the JBH advises the departments of the Social Affairs Division of the State Capital of Wiesbaden and provides important impetus for future policy decisions.
