Checking the stability of gravesites in Wiesbaden cemeteries
The cemetery department informs that from Monday, April 13, the regular stability checks of gravesites will be carried out by the burial service at all Wiesbaden cemeteries.
These inspections are required by law and are intended to ensure the safety of cemetery visitors and staff. During the inspection, we verify whether gravestones are still securely anchored and comply with applicable accident prevention regulations.
If the inspection reveals any stability issues, the gravesites will be secured with a wooden stake, and the authorized users will be notified accordingly. In such cases, professional repair by a licensed stonemason is required.
