"Quiet hour" in Wiesbaden: Invitation to exchange ideas and network
The state capital of Wiesbaden invites all participating retailers in the "Stille Stunde" initiative as well as newly interested companies and institutions to a joint exchange and networking meeting on Tuesday, April 14, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Reinhard Ernst Museum.
Since July 2025, Wiesbaden has been recognized nationwide as a pioneer of the “Quiet Hour” initiative thanks to its coordinated, citywide approach to inclusion. The initiative promotes greater consideration, participation, and awareness for people with invisible disabilities in everyday life. The goal of the event is to share experiences, highlight best practices, and encourage additional stakeholders from retail, the restaurant industry, cultural institutions, and city departments to participate in the “Quiet Hour.”
A special highlight of the event is the visit by the Hessian Minister of Social Affairs, who, as patron of the initiative, will acknowledge the project’s significance for inclusion and social participation, as will City Councilor Dr. Patricia Becher. The meeting will take place at the Reinhard Ernst Museum, thereby providing an important impetus for how cultural institutions can participate in the “Quiet Hour.” With the goal of further expanding and sustainably strengthening the “Quiet Hour” in Wiesbaden, the event offers a space for exchange, questions, and new ideas.
