Experience nature in the pheasantry

At the Fasanerie, Wilfried-Ries-Straße 22, the events "Teens in the park", "Naturalists in the Fasanerie" and "Of paws, paws and paws" from the Nature Experience series take place.

Starting Thursday, April 23, the “Teens in the Park” event will take place four times every two weeks from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. It is aimed at young people ages 12 and up who enjoy spending time outdoors. The group will build a fire together, try out survival skills, get creative, and lend a hand in the park. The cost is 30 euros per person. The “Nature Explorers at the Fasanerie” meet on Fridays, April 24, May 8, May 22, May 29, and June 12, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. each time. The children explore nature in and around the Fasanerie: They observe animals and plants, explore their habitats, feed the animals, and engage in creative activities. The event is suitable for elementary school-aged children; the cost is 30 euros per child. The meeting point is in the courtyard at the main entrance. The event “Of Paws, Claws, and Hooves” takes place on Saturday, April 25, from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The group explores the various animals at the Fasanerie and compares their “feet” to identify similarities and differences.
