UNICEF benefit concert by the Wiesbaden Music and Art School
Together with the Wiesbaden Music and Art School (WMK), the UNICEF Working Group Wiesbaden invites you to a benefit concert on Tuesday, May 5, at 6 p.m. at the Kulturforum, Friedrichstraße 16. Under the motto "Children play for children", pupils of the WMK will perform a varied concert evening for the benefit of UNICEF.
The audience can look forward to a varied program featuring solo performances on piano, guitar, and harp, as well as performances by the WMK Children’s Choir. In addition, the family band “The Zellebrations” will perform a wide-ranging repertoire. Musically, the concert spans a spectrum from classical music to pop and film scores.
The benefit concert is also part of the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of UNICEF Germany and serves as a symbol of solidarity and social commitment.
On the same day, the state capital of Wiesbaden will also participate in the European Day of Protest for the Equality of People with Disabilities with a diverse program featuring speeches, information booths, and hands-on activities. As part of this, students from the WMK’s Elementary Music Education program will take part in a musical flash mob in front of City Hall that afternoon.
Admission to the concert is free. Donations to UNICEF are welcome.
