WerkRaum Wiesbaden opens
On Saturday, May 2, WerkRaum Wiesbaden will open in the heart of Wiesbaden's city center in the former SportScheck, Langgasse 5-9 - a new, temporary space for exchange, participation and creative impulses as part of the World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026 (WDC 2026).
From 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., everyone is invited to explore the WerkRaum on the ground floor of the former department store on Langgasse. With performances such as Nosa Rap (hip-hop/rap), a fashion show by the “Wiesbaden – Dreh dein Ding” project, numerous other artists from Wiesbaden and the region, as well as Motion Creation Design—a project by the Hessian State Ballet in cooperation with Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences—the opening day will be a lively celebration for the entire city community. Admission is free.
The official program begins at 6 p.m.: opening remarks, the Pop Jazz Choir, Motion Creation Design (State Ballet), followed by a reception and time for conversation until 10 p.m. Please register for the evening event at infostadtmuseum-wiesbadende. Space is limited.
