Work in the Bierstadter Höhe and Von-Bergmann-Straße area in Bierstadt
In the course of laying power cables, there will be traffic restrictions in the Bierstadter Höhe and Von-Bergmann-Straße area.
The work will be carried out in four consecutive phases from Tuesday, May 26, through Friday, August 7 (tentatively). On Bierstadter Höhe, one lane in each direction will remain open at all times.
The restrictions also apply to bicycle traffic. Pedestrians can use their usual routes.
The city asks for your understanding regarding the traffic disruptions associated with the work.
The city regularly renovates roads, utility lines, and sewers. That is why there are approximately 5,000 construction sites in Wiesbaden every year. A map showing selected projects is available at wiesbaden.de/baustellen. If buses are affected, ESWE Verkehr will provide information on detours at eswe-verkehr.de. All of this work is an investment in the future. Without it, major damage would occur sooner or later, leading to more severe traffic disruptions.
