Parents' evening on the subject of cannabis
Following successful events, the Wiesbaden Health Department and the Addiction Prevention Center are once again offering the online parents' evening in the "Intoxication & Risk" format.
The event will take place on Wednesday, May 20, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Through expert input and interactive activities, parents will be informed, made more aware of the issue, and empowered to address it.
The director of the Wiesbaden Health Department, Prof. Dr. med. René-Maxime Gracien, explains: “The desire for intoxication and risk-taking is particularly pronounced during puberty. This evening will focus equally on alternatives and risk literacy to support young people on their journey.”
In addition, there will be an overview of cannabis: What exactly is it? How does it work? What consequences can its use have for young people—and what applies under the new legal framework?
The event is free of charge. Registration is open until Sunday, May 17, via the booking portal https://anny.eu/book/elternabend-cannabis-7xvpb2lnml (opens in a new tab).
