Press release of the state capital Wiesbaden

Äppelallee: Buses will be diverted

Due to extensive sewer work in Äppelallee (junction of Albert-Schweitzer-Allee and Hagenauer Straße), only one lane will be available in each direction from Monday, May 4 until probably Friday, August 14.

Access to Albert-Schweitzer-Allee from Äppelallee is closed. It is also not possible to turn from Hagenauer Straße onto Äppelallee. Significant traffic congestion is expected. Public transportation is also affected.

Lines 14 and N3: In the direction of Schierstein, buses will depart from the “Schloss Biebrich” stop, pass the “Regattastraße” stop, and continue without stopping to the “Friedrich-Bergius-Straße” stop. In the direction of Klarenthal, the detour will follow the reverse route. The stops “Paul-Ehrlich-Straße,” “Nansenstraße,” and “Elsa-Brändström-Straße” are omitted.

Lines 47 and 74: Toward the Main Station, buses will be rerouted from the “Friedrich-Bergius-Straße” stop via the “Im Rosenfeld” and “Albert-Schweitzer-Allee” stops and will then resume their regular route. The stops on the usual route are omitted accordingly. In the opposite direction, buses are running according to schedule.

Shuttle service: A shuttle service has been established in the Parkfeld area. Transfer options to lines 4 and 14 toward the city center are available at the “Robert-Krekel-Anlage” and “Herzogsplatz” stops.

Please take these changes into account when planning your trips and allow for extra time if necessary.

Further general information is available at the timetable display cases at the affected stops. Current timetable information can also be found on the interactive route map at www.netzplan-wiesbaden.de (opens in a new tab). An overview of all detour notices is available at www.eswe-verkehr.de (opens in a new tab).

The ESWE Transportation Service Hotline is available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at (0611) 45022450. Timetable and fare information is also available via the Rhein-Main Transport Association hotline, which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at (069) 24248024.
