When AI meets district festival: Zukunftswerk brings digital and AI to life
Zukunftswerk Wiesbaden will be represented with its cargo bike at the district festival in Sauerland on Friday, May 8, from 3 to 5 pm. The aim is to address citizens directly on site and provide easy access to digital services offered by the state capital of Wiesbaden.
With its mobile format, Zukunftswerk brings its offerings to places where people naturally gather. On-site, the team provides information about free workshops and learning opportunities on smart and digital topics. The spectrum ranges from basic digital skills and the use of online and administrative services to the latest developments in the field of artificial intelligence.
“We want to bring digital topics, free of barriers, to where people are. With our cargo bike, we are finally mobile and can reach even more people in Wiesbaden right where they are. Zukunftswerk stands for an open digital transformation that includes everyone,” says Maral Koohestanian, Head of the Department for Smart City, Europe, and Public Order.
A special focus is on interactive, hands-on activities related to artificial intelligence (AI). The AI cubes provide a playful introduction to the topic. Visitors can try out AI firsthand here. They experience how AI reacts to simple inputs and receive a clear explanation of the results. This allows them to immediately experience the opportunities and limitations of the technology.
Participation is open to anyone at any time and requires no prior knowledge.
The goal is to strengthen digital participation, reduce reservations, and facilitate access to digital educational opportunities for everyone.
