75 Years of the Kleinfeldchen Outdoor Pool: Free Admission to the Anniversary Celebration

For 75 years, the Kleinfeldchen outdoor pool has been a part of Wiesbaden’s recreational and sports scene. To celebrate this anniversary, mattiaqua is hosting an anniversary celebration on Saturday, August 15, starting at 1 p.m. Admission is free on this day.

A varied program for the whole family awaits visitors. Music and entertainment set the right mood, while various sports and hands-on activities encourage active participation. For the youngest guests, there will be face painting, a bounce house, and a drawing contest where children can let their creativity run wild.

The DLRG will showcase its work and demonstrate how a water rescue operation unfolds during a rescue drill. The Wiesbaden Swimming Club (SCW) will provide some athletic action in the pool with a water polo tournament. Anyone who wants to get active can try out a taster class in Aqua Zumba.

In addition, there will be insights into the outdoor pool’s 75-year history and its development over the past decades. A wide variety of food and drinks will be available to satisfy your appetite. Other activities and surprises round out the anniversary program.

“75 years of the Kleinfeldchen Outdoor Pool mean 75 years of exercise, socializing, and community. The anniversary offers a great opportunity to look back on the pool’s history and celebrate this special event together with the people of Wiesbaden,” says Thomas Baum, operations manager.
