"Belle Wi" Sample Exhibition: Digital Guides Offer Advice
On Thursday, August 13, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., a new advisory service will begin at “Belle Wi,” the model showroom for accessible living and assistive technology, located at Föhrer Straße 74: Digital guides will answer questions about smartphones, laptops, tablets, the Internet, and social media.
With understanding and patience, the knowledgeable advisors provide information on various applications such as online banking, electronic health records, and booking appointments and purchasing tickets online. In a relaxed atmosphere over coffee and cookies, the Digital Guides help seniors, in particular, navigate the digital world. Even with little or no prior knowledge, participants can learn to use digital media successfully. Those interested can find information about other Digital Guides locations at www.digilotsen-wiesbaden.de (opens in a new tab).
The free consultations with the Digital Guides at the “Belle Wi” model exhibition take place every second Thursday of the month from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Registration is not required at this time.
Visitors to the “Belle Wi” model exhibition can explore other technologies that make everyday life easier, such as special smartphones and tablets, smart-home components, and emergency call systems. The free permanent exhibition is open on Tuesdays from 2 to 6 p.m. and on Thursdays from 1 to 5 p.m. Guided tours for groups are available by appointment.
