New Square on Spiegelgasse/Am Pariser Hof to Become an Open-Air Stage
Following the successful redesign of the square at Spiegelgasse/Am Pariser Hof, this downtown location is now being used for events, thereby further revitalizing the area.
Local stakeholders, in collaboration with the state capital’s city management team, have put together a top-notch cultural and culinary program. This partnership combines culinary delights, historical reflection, and the performing arts right in the heart of downtown Wiesbaden. Admission to all events is free.
Thanks to the joint efforts of the state capital and private local partners, the square—which used to be occupied by cars and glass recycling bins—has been redesigned and revitalized. It was opened to the public at the end of November 2025 after a six-month renovation period.
The diverse program for the coming weeks reflects the creative synergy among the partners and offers a range of experiences, from historical and literary to musical. The events are organized by the Active Museum for German-Jewish History in Wiesbaden e.V., the Theater im Pariser Hof, and the Chookdee restaurant. The events are supported by City Management. The deliberate decision to forgo loud stage setups ensures that the events blend harmoniously into the backdrop of balmy summer evenings.
