Local councils meet
Next week, the local advisory councils of Rambach, Kastel, Delkenheim, Klarenthal, Kostheim, Nordost, Schierstein, Kloppenheim, and Auringen will meet. During the public meetings, residents will have the opportunity to ask questions before the agenda is addressed.

The Rambach Local Advisory Council will meet on Tuesday, August 18, at 7:00 p.m., in the Protestant Community Center, Community Hall, Kirchweg 1. Among other topics, members will discuss the implementation of the local bus route network reform at the end of the Hessian summer break in 2027, the new land-use plan for the state capital of Wiesbaden, the topic “Restoration and Renovation of the Rest and Recreation Area at the Wengenrothbrunnen (Weilbornstraße/corner of Sonnenhang) – A Phased Approach,” as well as funding.
The Kastel Local Advisory Council will meet on Tuesday, August 18, at 7:00 p.m., in the Kastel/Kostheim Local Administration building, meeting room, St. Veiter Platz 1. Among other things, the meeting will address the new land-use plan for the state capital of Wiesbaden and the policy proposal for the replacement of the Lache Bridge.
The Delkenheim Local Advisory Council will meet on Tuesday, August 18, at 7:00 p.m., at the Delkenheim Community Center, Münchener Straße 2. Items on the agenda include “Implementation of the route network reform for local bus service at the end of the Hessian summer break in 2027,” the new land-use plan for the state capital of Wiesbaden, “Overview of all construction projects in the Delkenheim area scheduled for 2026 and those already planned for 2027, with a particular focus on all transportation-related projects,” “Protection of the Delkenheim population from additional aircraft noise pollution caused by Frankfurt Airport’s new operating concept,” as well as funding.
The meeting of the Klarenthal Local Advisory Council will take place on Tuesday, August 18, starting at 7:30 p.m. in the Protestant Community Center, Graf-von-Galen-Straße 32, in the church hall. Topics to be discussed include the implementation of the local bus route network reform at the end of the Hessian summer vacation in 2027, a policy resolution to apply for the inclusion of the Klarenthal and Sampel/Krautgärten areas in the “Social Cohesion” urban development funding program, the renewal of the road surface on Otto-Wels-Straße, funding, the naming of the Klarenthal sports hall, as well as the topics “Training in Forced Door Entry” and “Installation of a flexible traffic barrier (barrier, bollard) on Klosterweg toward the neighborhood center.”
The Kostheim Local Advisory Council will meet on Wednesday, August 19, at 6:30 p.m., at the Kastel/Kostheim Local Administration Office, St. Veiter Platz 1. Among other things, the Local Advisory Council will discuss the Main Bridge with Hessen Mobil and pass a resolution on the topic “Lachebrücke, Replacement Construction – Policy Proposal.”
The Northeast Local Advisory Council will meet on Wednesday, August 19, at 7:00 p.m., at City Hall, Schlossplatz 6, Room 301. Among other topics, members will discuss “New Land Use Plan for the State Capital of Wiesbaden — Resolution on the Preliminary Draft,” “Implementation of the Route Network Reform in Local Bus Service at the End of the Hessian Summer Vacation in 2027,” “Safe Pedestrian Traffic on the Rear Section of Parkstraße,” “Traffic Situation at Robert-Schumann-Schule,” “Protection of Trees and Accessibility of the Sidewalk on Emser Straße,” as well as funding.
The Schierstein Local Advisory Council will meet on Wednesday, August 19, at 7:00 p.m., at the Schierstein Local Administration Office, Karl-Lehr-Straße 6, Room 3. The meeting will address, among other topics, “Hafenschule New Construction and Renovation—Implementation Proposal,” “Implementation of the route network reform for local bus service at the end of the Hessian summer break in 2027,” “Replanting of missing trees in Schierstein,” “Implementation of alternating parking on Schönaustraße between the highway bridge and the intersection with Hermann-Löns-Straße,” “Walk and Talk for a Greater Sense of Safety,” reports from working groups, and funding.
The Kloppenheim Local Advisory Council will meet on Wednesday, August 19, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sängerklause of the MGV, Oberstraße 11. Items on the agenda include “Prospects for the Protestant parish hall on Pfarrstraße in Kloppenheim—review of the possibility of shared municipal use,” “New Land Use Plan for the State Capital of Wiesbaden—Adoption of the Preliminary Draft,” “Implementation of the local bus route network reform at the end of the Hessian summer vacation in 2027,” and funding.
The Auringen Local Advisory Council will meet on Wednesday, August 19, at 7 p.m., at the Auringen Local Administration Office, Kirchenhügel 3. Among other topics, the meeting will address the new land-use plan for the state capital of Wiesbaden, an additional bus stop at the corner of Bremthaler Weg and Tannenring, the promotion and support of volunteer work, and funding.
