Local councils meet

The Biebrich and Nordenstadt local advisory councils will meet next week. During the public meetings, residents will have the opportunity to ask questions before the agenda is addressed.

The Biebrich Local Advisory Council will meet on Wednesday, September 2, at 6:30 p.m., in the Biebrich Local Administration Office, Rathausstraße 63, in the meeting room. Agenda items for the meeting include the status report on the customs office plans, the policy proposal for the replacement of the railroad bridge at Herzogplatz, a status report on the renovation of the volunteer fire department’s entrance area, the issue of “The ‘Tausendbüchler’ bookmobile must be able to serve the Otto-Stückrath School again,” the establishment of various working groups, and funding. 

The Nordenstadt Local Advisory Council will meet on Wednesday, September 2, at 7:00 p.m., in the Nordenstadt Community Center, Hessenring 46, community hall. Among other topics, the local council members will discuss “Application of Section 41 (Submission and Consideration of Motions) of the Rules of Procedure of the City Council of the State Capital of Wiesbaden in the Wiesbaden-Nordenstadt Local Council,” “Densification in the Hainweg development area,” “Involvement of the Local Advisory Council in bus stop measures as part of the 2027 transit network reform,” “Funding for the redesign of all roundabouts in Nordenstadt,” “Evaluating speed measurements on Hunsrückstraße and increasing enforcement,” “Establishment of a crosswalk (zebra crossing) between the Kiebitzweg Municipal Daycare Center and the sidewalk or green space in Hainpark,” and “Dog Park in Nordenstadt.”
