During the midday and afternoon hours, water was a popular choice, followed by non-alcoholic wines and grape juice spritzers.

The newly redesigned Schlossplatz in front of the Marktkirche was well received by winemakers and guests alike. The new layout offers more space, a clear structure, and a paved surface around the booths. 

Matthias Fromm, Managing Director of WICM GmbH, adds: “For us, Wine Week is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the cultural diversity of the ‘Wiesbaden Rheingau’ destination. With the decision to extend ‘Riesling Vibes’ to three days, we have once again successfully taken the bold step of carefully evolving Wine Week without neglecting the tradition of wine culture.” 

Already on Monday, relaxed chill-out tunes at the Marktkirche stage created a great atmosphere during the day, before DJ Peter Latino and D-Jane Nicole spun danceable beats in the evening. On Wednesday, the popular “Freitanzen” takes place on the stage in front of City Hall. On the final day of the festival, Sunday, August 23, “cool vibes” will accompany the program all day long, before Rauschhofer wraps up this year’s series on stage at the Dern’schen Gelände in the evening. 

The Wine Festival event ticket is once again in high demand. The bus ticket can be exchanged until the end of the Wine Festival for a 3-euro voucher for a wine or non-alcoholic beverage at selected wineries. The voucher is available from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in front of the Mobility Center at Marktstraße 10.

The second part of Wine Week offers numerous musical highlights, including:

· Thursday, August 20, starting at 7:00 p.m. (City Hall Stage): Los 4 del Son with Cuban music

· Friday, August 21, starting at 7:00 p.m. (Dern’sches Gelände): Florian-Samuel Spaeth & Band with high-energy cover songs

· Saturday, August 22: Groove Time starting at 7 p.m. on the Marktkirche stage, Daylight Music during the day at the Dern’sches Gelände, and Medley Crew starting at 7 p.m. with rock and pop.

Anyone who wants to learn more about the star of Rheingau Wine Week—wine—can join a guided tour. The one-and-a-half-hour tour explains the history of the event, highlights its unique features, and aims to inspire you to discover something new. Includes four wine tastings and a snack. For families, the Protestant Family Education program in the Wiesbaden Deanery is also offering childcare for children ages five to eleven on the second weekend:

· Saturday, 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.: Childcare at the Haus der Marktkirche (6 euros per hour; 3 euros for siblings)

· Sunday, 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.: Free childcare and play supervision, supported by Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing GmbH

Registration is not required; children will be cared for if space is available.

The Rheingau Wine Week booths are open:

· Monday through Thursday and Sunday: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. 

· Friday and Saturday: 11 a.m. to midnight
