Press release of the state capital Wiesbaden

Closure of Herrnbergstraße in Frauenstein

Herrnbergstraße will be completely closed between house numbers 22 and 24—from Monday, September 7, through Friday, September 25 (tentatively).

The reason for this is the replacement and installation of new gas, water, and electrical service connections.

Residents and businesses affected by the work can access their properties at any time via Bürgermeister-Schneider-Straße and Quellbornstraße.

The closure also affects bicycle traffic. Pedestrians can use their usual routes. The city asks for your understanding regarding the traffic disruptions associated with the work.

The city regularly renovates roads, utility lines, and sewers. As a result, there are approximately 5,000 construction sites in Wiesbaden each year. A map showing selected projects is available at www.wiesbaden.de/baustellen (opens in a new tab). If buses are affected, ESWE Verkehr will provide information on detours at www.eswe-verkehr.de (opens in a new tab). All of this work is an investment in the future. Without these projects, major damage would occur sooner or later, leading to even more severe traffic disruptions.
