"Spot Hot" Theme Day on Thermal Springs at WerkRaum

On Saturday, August 29, WerkRaum Wiesbaden, located at Langgasse 5–9, invites you to the Spot Hot theme day titled “Hot Springs—A Hot Topic.” The event’s organizer, Yvonne Kirchdörfer, will kick off a public dialogue there about the future of the 26 thermal springs and the “DNA” of Wiesbaden.

From 2:00 p.m. to about 8:30 p.m., the theme day will feature a city tour, a lecture, and two panel discussions to the question of whether and how these springs could be incorporated into future urban development and, at least in part, reactivated—including with regard to the sustainable, geothermal use of “water” as a resource in the context of the heat transition. Those interested can register for the respective events starting now.

WerkRaum is a project within the framework of World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026. WDC 2026 is funded by the State of Hesse, the City of Frankfurt am Main, and the Kulturfonds Frankfurt RheinMain.
