Press release of the state capital Wiesbaden

Complete Closure of Margeritenweg in Dotzheim

Margeritenweg will be completely closed at house number 27 from Monday, September 7, through Friday, October 2 (tentatively). This is due to civil engineering work to lay a power line.

The closure also affects cyclists and pedestrians. The city asks for your understanding regarding the traffic disruptions caused by the work.

The city regularly renovates roads, utility lines, and sewers. As a result, there are approximately 5,000 construction sites in Wiesbaden every year. A map showing selected projects is available at www.wiesbaden.de/baustellen. If buses are affected, ESWE Verkehr will provide information about detours at www.eswe-verkehr.de (opens in a new tab). All of this work is an investment in the future. Without these projects, major damage would occur sooner or later, leading to even more severe traffic disruptions.
