Under the theme “Shaping the Digital Future: Experience AI and Volunteering,” visitors can look forward to various interactive AI stations to try out. There, they can explore the current possibilities of artificial intelligence in a playful and accessible way. 

At their own booth, the Digital Guides will provide information about the “Digital in Old Age” initiative and offer assistance with questions related to digital topics. At the same time, interested individuals can learn about the opportunity to volunteer as a Digital Guide themselves. 

“Digital participation also means giving people the opportunity to try out new technologies for themselves and gain their own experiences. That’s exactly what Zukunftswerk stands for: We create an open space where people, regardless of their prior knowledge, can experience digitalization and develop new ideas together,” says Maral Koohestanian, Director of Smart City, Europe, and Public Order. 

Rainer Lindhauer, coordinator of the “Digital im Alter” initiative, also emphasizes the importance of this involvement: “Many people want to share their knowledge and get involved. At the same time, others are looking for support with digital issues. The digital guides bring both sides together.” 

Snacks and drinks will create a pleasant atmosphere, encouraging conversation and inviting visitors to linger. The event will take place at Zukunftswerk Wiesbaden, Luisenforum, Kirchgasse 6, 2nd floor (by the bridge), 65185 Wiesbaden. Participation is free and no registration is required. Anyone interested can simply stop by during late-night shopping to try out the AI stations, learn more, and chat with the Digital Guides.
