Construction Work at Wiesbaden Ost Station

As part of its nationwide program “Germany Needs a Strong Rail System,” Deutsche Bahn AG will be replacing switches on the Taunus Railway line near the Wiesbaden Ost station from Wednesday, August 5, through Monday, August 10.

As a result, there may be increased noise and dust during the following period: 

· From Wednesday, August 5, through Friday, August 7 (preparatory work, continuous),

· From Friday, August 7, through Monday, August 10 (main work, continuous). 

Equipment to be used includes a track-laying train, power generators, road-rail excavators, a rail crane, a tamping machine, a cutting saw, excavators, work trains, and various small machines. 

Every effort will be made to keep disruptions caused by the construction work to a minimum. Nevertheless, disruptions and changes to the construction schedule cannot be entirely ruled out. Deutsche Bahn AG apologizes for any inconvenience.
