Counseling centers for independent living in old age are updating their fact sheets

The counseling centers for independent living in old age in the state capital of Wiesbaden have completely revised their topic-specific information sheets. These free information sheets provide people aged 60 and older with concise information about support services and preventive measures for leading an independent life in their own homes.

Regular reviews of the information sheets ensure that older adults always receive reliable and up-to-date guidance. The current revision cycle for 2026 has now been successfully completed. The information sheets cover various topics, such as housing for seniors, lunch programs, in-home emergency response systems, nursing homes, day care, medical transportation services, and much more. 

The updated information sheets are now available free of charge at the four locations of the Counseling Centers for Independent Living in Old Age. In addition, the materials can be ordered by phone or downloaded digitally at www.wiesbaden.de/beratung-im-alter (opens in a new tab).

The counseling centers’ service hotline is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., and additionally on Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at (0611) 313487.
