Press release of the state capital Wiesbaden

Digital infection control guidelines in thirty languages

The Public Health Department of the state capital of Wiesbaden has introduced new software for providing digital infection control training in accordance with Section 43 of the Infection Protection Act. The software is now available in thirty different languages, giving more residents of Wiesbaden the opportunity to complete the legally required training digitally in their own language.

Individuals who are starting work in the food industry for the first time must complete an infection control training session before beginning work. By switching to the mindlane software solution, the range of available languages has been significantly expanded. This allows more residents of Wiesbaden to conveniently complete the training online without having to visit the public health department in person. This makes it easier to start a career and saves on travel and waiting times.

“By expanding our online offerings, we are taking another important step toward a modern and citizen-friendly administration,” says Milena Löbcke, Head of the Health Department. “The infection control training is now easily accessible to even more people.”

Upon successful completion, participants receive the required certificate in accordance with legal requirements. More information on infection control training is available at wiesbaden.de/vv/produkte/53/Belehrung-ueber-Taetigkeitsverbote-beim-Umgang-mit-Lebensmitteln (opens in a new tab).
