Closure of Fritz-Reuter-Straße in the Southeast
Fritz-Reuter-Straße in the Southeast will be completely closed at the intersection with Gustav-Stresemann-Ring from Thursday, July 23, through Friday, August 7 (tentatively). The closure is due to utility line replacement work.
The closure also affects bicycle traffic. Pedestrians can use their usual routes.
The city asks for your understanding regarding the traffic disruptions caused by the construction work.
The city regularly renovates roads, utility lines, and sewers. As a result, there are approximately 5,000 construction sites in Wiesbaden every year. If buses are affected, ESWE Verkehr will provide information about detours at eswe-verkehr.de (opens in a new tab). All of this work is an investment in the future. Without these projects, major damage would occur sooner or later, leading to more severe traffic disruptions.
