Closure of Holzweg Street in Nordenstadt
Holzweg Street in Nordenstadt will be completely closed between house numbers 15 and 21 from Wednesday, July 8, until Sunday, August 9 (tentatively). The closure is due to work on utility connections. The closure will be in effect only during the contractor’s working hours.
The closure also affects bicycle traffic. Pedestrians can use their usual routes. The city asks for your understanding regarding the traffic disruptions caused by the construction work.
The city regularly renovates roads, utility lines, and sewers. As a result, there are approximately 5,000 construction sites in Wiesbaden every year. If buses are affected, ESWE Verkehr will provide information about detours at eswe-verkehr.de (opens in a new tab). All of this work is an investment in the future. Without it, major damage would occur sooner or later, leading to more severe traffic disruptions.
