Closure of Oberfeld Street in Erbenheim
Oberfeld Street between Erbenheim and Igstadt will be completely closed at house number 33 from Tuesday, July 28, until Friday, August 14 (tentatively). The closure is due to repairs to a water main and the restoration of a household water connection.
A detour is in place in both directions via Nordenstadt. Cyclists and pedestrians can use their usual routes. The city asks for your understanding regarding the traffic disruptions caused by the construction work.
The city regularly renovates roads, utility lines, and sewers. As a result, there are approximately 5,000 construction sites in Wiesbaden every year. Without these projects, major damage would occur sooner or later, leading to more severe traffic disruptions.
